German Summer Courses (12-17) – Summer School

This prestigious private school, founded by Empress Maria Theresia, provides optimum learning and recreation facilities required for the ActiLingua Summer courses. The school is located in central Vienna, with many famous sights in walking distance or within easy reach by public transport. The school is spaciously laid out. In the middle of the campus we have a large park that facilitates leisure and sport activities by providing a football pitch, tennis courts, sports and volleyball grounds, which are available after lessons.
You are accommodated on campus in modern rooms together with students of the same age from different countries. Your German courses take place in small, international groups – the best way to learn German! You enjoy full-board catering in the school cafeteria. Our teachers put together an exciting leisure programme on the school premises and show you the very best of Vienna.

Courses:

  • Summer Course 20: 20 lessons of German tuition per week + Culture and Leisure Program

  • Summer Course 30: 30 lessons of German tuition per week + Culture and Leisure Program

  • Preparation for OSD certificate: 6 German lessons in addition to Summer Course 1 or 2.

  • Group size: average 10, max 15.

  • Levels: all levels

  • Duration: 2-5 weeks

  • Age: 12-17 years

Lessons:

Lessons are held in small groups from Monday to Friday. You practice grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and auditory comprehension in systematically structured lessons. Emphasis is placed on language for use in real-life situations outside the school, communicative language games and working in groups and pairs.

Certificate Preparation Course OSD

Get ready to shine! At the ActiLingua Summer School, you can confidently prepare for the ÖSD Zertifikat B1 with our dedicated Certificate Preparation Course. For students 16 and older, we also offer expert guidance to help you ace the ÖSD Zertifikat B2.

Please note that a proficiency with the latin alphabet is required for our German courses, as we don’t offer alphabetization courses.
